The International Institute for Justice and the Rule of Law (IIJ) is an international institute providing rule of law-based training to lawmakers, police, prosecutors, corrections officials, and other justice sector stakeholders on how to address extremism, terrorism and elated transnational criminal activities while respecting human rights and promoting rule of law. IIJ, established in 2014, by the European Union and 12 states have developed training, capacity building programs, seminars address the the life cycle of radicalization in North, East, West Africa, the Middle East and other select regions.
